LTEK Labs is the engineering arm of L-TEK. It was spun out of L-TEK’s in-house development team as a separate legal entity, and it solves the hardware and firmware problems behind the products. The practice is built on the decades of hands-on work of L-TEK co-owner Tomasz Krupnik, and staffed by software, electronics and mechanical engineers.
L-TEK has been designing and manufacturing since 2002. Everything sits on one site in Gorzeń Dolny near Wadowice, Poland — the drawing board, the prototype and the production run. We do not follow the trend; we set it.
What we work on
Our core is interaction and sensorics — surfaces that detect pressure and impact, and resolve both where the contact happened and how hard it was. The same technology goes into entertainment hardware, security systems and interactive shooting ranges, working with air and live firearms alike.
It also drives iAmats.com, L-TEK’s dance-mat brand: professional controllers for fitness clubs, game rooms and school gyms, for home use, and for rehabilitation after injury.
The lab and the machine park
LTEK Labs works inside L-TEK’s production site: over 900 m² of floor space and a machine park owned by the company rather than rented from a subcontractor. Prototype and production series run on the same machines in the same hall, so a change in the design reaches a machine the same day.

- 4 lasers — a fiber engraver, ULS CO₂ plotters and UV
- 2 large-format Pegasus UV flatbed printers
- An electronics laboratory with an R&D bench, plus SMT pick & place assembly
- For larger formats and thicker metal, L-TEK draws on partner capacity — Trumpf 4 kW and Kimla 6 kW cutting lasers — while design and supervision stay in-house
Patents and intellectual property
Devices, technologies and designs developed on this site are protected wherever it makes commercial sense — constructions, communication protocols and measurement methods alike. L-TEK’s wireless dance mat technology is covered by a patent granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office:

The invention covers a wireless dance mat together with its base station and its method of operation. It shipped in iAmats.com products — systems where several mats connect to a single base station at once.

Responsible production
Half of the energy the machines consume comes from renewable sources. Parts and semi-finished goods are delivered using the company’s own electric vehicles.
Results come from doing, not from declaring.
