Concept & product definition
The premise — an LED grid instead of a screen — was set here, then argued down to four games that work within it.
Consumer hardware · In production
A pocket console with an LED grid where the touchscreen should be — so the game happens in your head, not on a pixel.
VIDEOCADE strips the handheld back to what makes a handheld fun. No touchscreen, no notifications, no app store — just a grid of LEDs, a few buttons and a game that has to earn its place in your imagination.
Four titles, each with its own character and its own shell colour: checkers, dropix, brickdash and car race. One shape, different stories. It runs on two AAA batteries — no charging cable, no ports, nothing to update.

Driver board, LED matrix addressing and power budget tuned to run for a long time on two alkaline cells.
Iterated 3D-printed shells: fit, button feel and colour per title, taken from first print to a repeatable part.
Every unit is hand-assembled and tested by LTEK Labs before it ships.
